As Co-founder and CEO of Vera Solutions, Zak has managed program evaluations and architected data systems for dozens of leading global nonprofits, including the Gavi Alliance, the Aga Khan Foundation, the Skoll Foundation, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation. He holds a PhD and MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BA from Dartmouth, where he was recently awarded the 2018 Social Justice Award.
CJ serves as Associate Partner and Rwanda Director at Dalberg, where he has worked for nearly seven years. Prior to that he served as Manager of Impact Reporting and Investment Standards (IRIS) at GIIN and Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at the Clinton Foundation. He earned a MBA from the Cornell University and a BS in Information Technology and Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Karti, a co-founder of Vera Solutions, is a Product Manager of Digital Services at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Prior to Vera, he was a financial analyst in the investment banking divisions of Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. He holds an MPA in International Development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, MBA from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and BA in Economics from Amherst College.
Shalinee, a finance and strategy expert with over a decade of experience in technology for social good, most recently served as Vice President of Salesforce.org. Since 2009, Shalinee has served as Salesforce.org’s VP of Strategy & Operations, Senior Director of Finance & Operations, and Finance & Operations Manager. Prior to Salesforce.org, she worked for NCB Capital Impact. Shalinee earned her MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and her BA from UCLA.
Taylor currently serves as Director of Partnerships for Curious Learning, an EdTech nonprofit based in Boston. He also co-founded PharmaSecure in 2007, for which he has served as Board Chair. He has advised more than a dozen social enterprises on strategy, and has consulted for the Global Impact Investing Network, Echoing Green, and the Impact Term Project. He holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Dartmouth College.
