Vera Solutions is proud to join the more than 260 corporations, foundations, non-profit organizations, and social enterprises supporting Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) around the world as a member of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). A policy program of the Aspen Institute, ANDE has spent the last seven years convening leaders from the global development and business communities to provide SGBs with access to financing and global markets, as well as opportunities for capacity building.

ANDE also places a significant emphasis on research in order to better understand the impact of SGBs on poverty and economic development. They regularly share their evaluation findings — gleaned from social and environmental performance indicators that are aligned with the Impact Reporting and Investment Standards (IRIS) — through webinars, reports, working groups, and events. A leader in the sector, ANDE is committed to using data to design, tweak, and report on the most effective ways to move the needle for SGBs globally. “We’re so pleased to join a data-driven community that is dedicated to working toward a common goal,” said Tilly Josephson, Vera’s Director of Partnerships. “It’s an exciting, new avenue for Vera and we look forward to exploring how we can help the ANDE network to better access, manage, and visualize their data in order to more effectively and efficiently achieve their missions.”

Vera joins the ANDE community ahead of their annual conference, which begins today. If you’re attending, we hope you’ll join us on Wednesday morning, September 28th, as we discuss how to use Salesforce for impact tracking, featuring lessons learned from our friends at TechnoServe
