Position Overview

The Product Manager will be part of a growing Products team in Mumbai, and play a critical role in the creation of new products and features from idea to launch. This position is involved throughout the product life cycle – market research, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, design of new features, maintain product quality, and provide training and technical assistance.

Aligned with our vision for greater transparency, accountability and efficiency in the social sector, we have built two products: (1) Amp Impact, to help NGOs and funders measure their impact and manage their programs/portfolios and (2) Many2Many, to manage relationships between records through a simple and easy UX. Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop deep technical and market-based expertise on our core and future products
  • Lead requirements gathering efforts for new features and engage with all stakeholders during the process
  • Collaborate with implementation teams to conduct user research, document user stories, and translate them into actionable product features
  • Write product requirements and market requirements documents
  • Drive strong project management with planning, communicating, documenting and tracking activities using project management tools
    • Understand high-level requirements and create epics and write detailed user stories
    • Ensure all communication and decisions are documented
  • Monitor and report on product quality, adoption and user feedback throughout product lifecycle
  • Design, build, implement, and support cloud and mobile data systems for a range of social service organizations worldwide

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • 2-4 years experience as a Product Manager, or similar role in a SaaS company
  • Professional experience in a product design or research capacity
  • Experience in an agile software development environment, with rapid feedback loops and quick release cycles
  • Demonstrated success with project management and tools such as JIRA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relational skills; ability to lead technical conversations
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks effectively
  • Insatiable desire to improve skills and knowledge of self and others

Desirable

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Interest in social service work or international development
  • Experience developing and managing managed packages on top of Force.com platform
